Team W5M Equine Therapy is proud to support Joelle Vig for a second year! We have watched this young lady and her new horse Lilly find their ground over the past six months achieving their fastest time yet at the Calnash Winter Barrel Series winning the high point open saddle and consistently placing in the money in the 1D. Joelle is a multidiscipline athlete competing in barrel racing, pole bending, goat typing, breakaway roping and team roping. She currently competes in the Big West High School Rodeo Association and finished out Central Alberta Rodeo Association sitting 8th in barrels! It’s no secret that I love little mares. Lilly is little, has heart and is deceptively fast.

Please welcome Shelby Dillman to Team W5M for the 2019 season! Shelby has been competing for over 20 years and had some major accomplishments in the last 15 years winning buckles and saddles in barrel racing and breakaway roping. Most recently Shelby has been competing in ranch rodeos while attending Olds College. We are excited to have someone on the Team that is not only an incredible horseman (training, riding and competition), but also an expert in equine nutrition.

Please welcome Miranda McLeod to Team W5M For the 2019 season! Miranda has been competing in barrel racing for 4 years having wins at the Bolt for the Colt Race and the Oil Country Barrel Challenge Slot Race. What inspired us most about this lady was her ability to recognize and and honour when a horse's heart is just not in it, even if it means a bit of a setback in finding a new partner and establishing that bond. We look forward to seeing what Miranda and her new partner Tango can accomplish this summer and as they move on to college rodeo!

Team W5M Equine Therapy is excited to support Bailey Dunne for a second year! Bailey was a successful youth competitive barrel racer for over 7 years. She currently competes as part of the Red Deer College Rodeo Team and is sitting in 11th place in the Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. Not only is she having amazing success as a barrel racer, she is also a fantastic horseman. Her horse Sly is a gritty little mare that has so much heart. Sly loves her therapy sessions and never forgets to remind me that there is a treat after the stretches.

Please welcome Brianne Vig to Team W5M for the 2019 season! You may have noticed that we sponsor her older sister Joelle, but we have had our eyes on this young lady for a while. We are excited she is part of Team W5M. Brianne and her new horse Wilson finished 5th in barrels in the Central Alberta Rodeo Association last year and were chosen to compete at Rodeo’s Future Champions Rodeo winning 3rd in barrels.
